A vintage Omega Seamaster Calendar automatic watch. A sought after classic with the popular 3, 6, 9 and 12 Arabic numerals made famous by the Rolex Explorer and other Military watches throughout the 20th Century. The dial also features Omegas trademark small arrowhead markers and dauphine hands. There is a light patina to the dial but it is very even and the parchment tone adds to the vintage appeal of the watch. The Omega 20 jewel automatic calibre 503 movement was just serviced by my watchmaker and keeps excellent time. The serial number in the 15.5 million range dates the watch to 1957. The solid stainless steel case carries a reference number of 2849-3sc and features the etched Seamaster script along the top caseback angle. This handsome sporty casual wrist-watch has become popular due to its rugged reputation and muscular look on the wrist. The chunky looking lugs and flat steel bezel that frames the dial all add to the visual appear of these vintage Seamaster watches. The watch measures 34.5 mm wide by 42 mm long and will be supplied on the buyers choice of black or brown leather straps.
