A center sweep seconds doctors watch is a relative rarity. The Gruen dial has been restored to the original pattern including the “Art-Deco” numerals. The Gruen signed, 14K white gold filled case has slight wear to the high points on the corners but it is hardly noticable. The movement is the true surprise of the watch, it is the same movement as the Rolex caliber 210 movement as Gruen and Rolex shared production facilities during this period. The watch is supplied on a new old stock vintage leather strap or a metal bracelet as pictured. The watch measures 21mm wide by 33mm long which is considered a mid-sized piece for a man or a larger sized ladies watch.
